The Albany Law School Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) is holding weekly Animal Law seminars to educate and inform students on how they can carve out an animal law component to their legal practice.

SALDF is dedicated to providing and promoting a forum for education, advocacy, and scholarship aimed at protecting the lives and advancing the interests of animals through the legal system, and raising the profile of animal law. The Albany Law School SALDF is dedicated to the goals of educating the law school and surrounding community about forms of institutionalized animal abuse, and engaging in activities to promote these goals including, but not limited to: projects, programs, conferences, debates, hosting speakers, and carrying out research projects for lawyers and organizations promoting animal welfare.
